Bristol East & Kingswood Brass Band

Welcome to the Bristol East and Kingswood Band website.

We are a small ensemble of musicians who aim to give high quality performances of traditional and contemporary music at both indoor and outdoor venues around the Bristol and Bath area.  The band’s roots are in 2 of Bristol’s best-known brass bands, Bristol East Band and Kingswood (Bristol) Band. The Bristol East Band was founded in 1892 for miners of the East Bristol coalfields and has had a continuous presence in the area ever since. BEaK Band also like to support community events, local causes and charities. 

We rehearse every Thursday evening (19:45) at Wesley Memorial Church, Hanham.

Vacancies 

We are actively recruiting:-

• a front row cornet - position negotiable

• a percussionist/kit player

• a tenor horn player

New and guest musicians are always welcome.
